Well Troops…. Ladies, Gentlemen we have arrived!! Now in this historic era in the hobby, we have the chance to change the game for the better. By setting the bar higher, yet encouraging a greater number of new ideas, we WILL be the new face of reenacting as we know it! As the good Colonel says: “Let our yes’s be yes, and our no’s be no.” This is where making it happen begins.
    “Death or Glory!!”

    Gentleman,
Great work on the website, I also can’t wait to field with you all at New Market. We have the privilege of doing a really great job and function amongst our civil war community and events. We also have a great bunch of guys and units within this cavalry brigade that brings a comradery and friendship like none i have ever seen before. You all bring something different to the table, that is what will make this brigade even greater. Let’s strive to work hard together and also lets strive to play hard together and have as much fun as possible while reliving history as our forefathers did. I am proud to serve with each and every one of you! Let’s make this cavalry brigade one of the best out there.

  5. The action on Saturday was remarkable! To see the hundreds of Rebels marching onto the field and still taking the field with our grossly out numbered troops was amazing! The leadership of Capt Marcus LeMasters was invaluable for our small cavalry force! We managed to hold off 2 or 3 regiments and were instrumtental in capturing at least one company and defending the rear against dismounted and mounted cavalry to prevent a total collapse of our line! Hazzah for the Federal Volunteers!

Wow what a well organised brigade. We had an awesome showing at New Market.Too bad all members could not make it.

  7. Hello All,
Well after resting from Gettysburg i must say, it was a blast. I could not be prouder of the men. the mounted and remounts worked in cohesion as one unit and did an excellent job. the 3rd pa cavalry was there and helped us greatly to move cannons and hold the lines. i’d love to get them to join us. we had so many compliments from our own infantry and leaders within our brigade as well as from other units and spectators. the weather was great for once, wasn’t so deathly hot, stayed in the 80’s all weekend. gentlemen we have come a long way lets keep it going and hopefully the other units out there can see how we operate without the stupid politics and start having fun again and operating as cavalry should operate. i can’t wait to see our brothers from new york and west virginia. hope all is fine with you all. Your Obiediant Servant, major John Brindle

p.s. first time i was fully mounted at an event and for all your information, the major can ride and can stay in the saddle. LOL
